From 1st August 2024

After many years of challenges and drama, significant changes will take effect from the 1st of August 2024. These changes are intended to benefit my future endeavors, including several planned projects and some that are already in progress. However, let’s address a few updates first.

SoreEyesRP has closed:
The decision to shut down the project I had been nurturing since mid-2021 was a somber one, made with the best interests of myself and others in mind. It was a difficult choice, but necessary.

As the adage goes, “when one door closes, another opens,” and that proved true when I made the tough decision to draw SoreEyesRP to a close. Details regarding the new opportunity that has arisen will be shared in an upcoming post, specifically dedicated to this topic, in the next week or two.

Current Health:
My health remains the primary concern in my life, a persistent challenge that has plagued me for many years and continues to do so. I will not delve into detailed health updates in this post; I plan to address this in a future post soon, hopefully.

For the moment, suffice it to say that my health is far from optimal, with the stump still causing significant problems, as is now the case with my other leg. I find myself questioning how much longer it will remain before it may also need to be amputated. I will expand on this in a later update.

Starting 1st August 2024:

The following are changes that will take place from the 1st of August 2024. These changes will affect all areas of my life, including its current state and future direction. I cannot continue with life as it is. Below, you can see some of the plans I intend to make.

  • The schedule for support workers will shift from only Tuesday, Friday, and every other Saturday to include Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and every other Saturday. Besides the existing 5-hour shift on Fridays, an additional 30 minutes will be allocated per shift to assist with showering. This adjustment will enable me to shower every other day, rather than just twice a week, which is necessary as I am unable to do this independently due to the risk of falls and injuries from attempting transfers and dressing with a missing leg, which in turn leads to further health complications.
  • I need to start venturing out of the house more often than just Fridays for coffee, the chemist, and shopping. The plan is to start with short outings on Mondays and Wednesdays as well. My schedule already includes community time on Fridays and every other Saturday.
  • I’m planning to devise a notification system to remind me when and which medication to take, ensuring I take all my medication as prescribed and at the right times.
  • I need to have more regular appointments with my doctors, not just monthly visits for medication refills. I’m considering meeting them at least every two weeks initially.
  • I’m stepping out of my comfort zone and collaborating with people I normally wouldn’t. It’s a step towards progress, regardless of the amount of time I have left on this earth.
  • I have decided to stop allowing others to use, abuse, or treat me unfairly because I don’t comply with their demands. This change will take full effect on the 1st of August. I’ve already started this process by refusing requests over the past few weeks.
  • I plan to increase my dedication and focus on gaming even more, despite already being highly dedicated and passionate.
  • I am also reviving my Kangy Gaming website and community, which serves as my streaming platform while I game.
  • I’m planning to establish a new sleeping routine, as my longstanding habits no longer align with my health or lifestyle changes.

Other adjustments will be made, but I’ll share those details later. For now, these are the primary changes I need to concentrate on. Additionally, I will dedicate at least one hour each week to writing one or more scheduled blog posts for this website. The lengthy intervals between updates have prompted people to inquire about my activities, so I must provide updates more frequently. This commitment will be incorporated into a weekly schedule that is in the process of being created.

That concludes our current session, and I look forward to our next interaction.
