As you can tell by the image above this is news on my heart and what is happening with this. Most of you will remember a while back during a routine scan they found out that I have a blockage in veins going to my heart, which is what they believe all my chest pain is from. On Friday just gone (8th January 2021) I got a letter from the “Cardiology Registrar Gosford Hospital“.
The letter informed me that a surgery date has been scheduled for the 4th May. The plan is to attempt to put a stint in through a valve going up my groin and into the veins near my heart. However, they have said due to my other serious health problems they don’t know if that will work and they may need to perform open-heart surgery. So could turn from a minor to major surgery pretty quickly. I can’t say I ain’t scared about it, because I am. But it is also something that needs to be done.
So this is now the second surgery already scheduled for 2021 and we are only into our second week of the year. Seems to me that 2021 is going to be a bigger health year for me than what 2018-2020 was combined. As always I will keep you updated as I know more.
