New Friday Worker

Today I started with a new Friday support worker. When I saw his profile the other day, I wasn’t sure how things would go.

When he turned up this morning, he was chirpy and happy. Bit much for me early morning. But he had already read my bio and understood most of it, which was great. Someone who actually took the time to know my triggers and what to do in certain situations.

I felt so at ease with this new worker. His only 27, so a little spring chicken, but he gets things done and is so easy to talk too, which is what I need.

Apart from doing my normal Friday routine, his also going to for now doing my every second Saturday shift. Getting out into the community doing things.

This is just a short post to update on this worker. The next newbie starts Tuesday, so we will see how that one goes.
