NSW is having another COVID cluster. At the moment it primarily on the north part of the Northern Beaches – from Narrabeen bridge right through to Palm Beach. However it has also been spread out into other areas, some examples are Causla, the CBD, Orange, Central Coast as well as many other suburbs. The north part of the Northern Beaches is in complete lockdown – this is also where I used to sleep out when I was homeless, mainly between Mona Vale and Palm Beach (this is several suburbs past Narrabeen), so well and truly within the cluster zone.
Most of the people on the Northern Beaches and other suburbs locked down or with heavy restrictions have been doing the right thing. But over the last few days, some people just don’t give a shit. On Christmas Day there was a massive beach party on Bronte Beach, which Police and Riot Squad had to break up. There was another incident at Bondi Beach on Boxing Day and today there was a Northern Beaches group fined over $12,000 for attending a wedding which is currently against the Public Health and Safety Guidelines. There have been several others too.
They are currently saying the Christmas Day beach party was a lot of backpackers as well as locals. Well to you backpackers who are enjoying our country – especially the woman from the UK with the new UK strain of the COVID-19 virus who broke hotel isolation and has tested POSITIVE I have this to say. Respect our laws or fuck off home and don’t come back until this pandemic is 100% over. This country has enough issues than dealing with you dip wit little shits not obeying the law and putting our interstate at risk. So man up or fuck off.
For people like myself who have had this virus before and also have serious underlying health conditions catching this disease could prove fatal. And most of us don’t want to fucking die before of your dumbass stupidity. I know I don’t anyway. I was lucky enough not to end up in the hospital last time and in ICU with my various other serious health issues, there is no reason to say that will be the same this time around if I catch it. I am already having to limit my activities and going out due to us currently having several confirmed cases on the coast.
I just can’t believe people are so selfish and can follow the guidelines in place, which is both for their own, their families, friends and the wider communities health. Show some respect. And again to you backpackers that are constantly breaking the guidelines, do us all a favour and fuck off home and spread COVID to your families and friends and communities. Stop doing it here. Enough is enough.
To the NSW State Government and NSW Police, fines no longer work, through them in jail for 6 months, as they have done in Western Australia, that seemed to get the message across over there. So bring the same thing in here. People might grow a brain then.
Kind of a scary thought yeah, with the latest pandemics hitting Sydney suburbs it’s no wonder why were going to be left in confinement in our homes for the rest of our lives well.. Until this vaccination comes either way you gotta cross your fingers and hope for the best
You’re totally right there. And it is so annoying. But at least we aren’t in total lockdown like some places. But they are saying the vaccination won’t be til around March at the moment, but I will believe it when I see it.
