The Countdown Begins …

From 6am tomorrow morning every changes. As at the writing of this post I have less than 12 hours until I leave for my respite period. It is something that has been planned for over a month now and the day of departure is now not far away.

I am nervous and anxious, the family I will be seeing whilst away and people I know in my hometown have not seen me since having my leg amputated and being wheelchair bound. It is something that I am not looking forward to having to explain and hopefully I won’t have too, don’t know if I could handle that.

My supports all change from the time of getting back. My life changes that were all due to start on 1st of August but had to be slightly delayed until I return home, some just were not possible to start prior to respite. So, everything is in place for the major changes to take effect two days after returning home.

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, the countdown has got real. I will be posting whilst away, planning to do a post everyday (all going well). Should be done around nighttime my time.

Anywayz, that is enough for now. Speak to you all again over the coming days.
